3-Card Poker

Three Card Poker in fact contains two games, they are Ante and Raise and PairPlus, that are played between the player and dealer. As the basic rules of poker state, to win the pot the gambler must make the three-card poker hand better than the dealer’s one. In Ante and Play game the gambler just bets whether he/she will make the hand stronger than the dealer obtain, while the objective of the PairPlus bet is to get the pair or better. The poker player may post both of the bets. The game session starts by the cards deal. Both the player and dealer are given three cards each. The poker player checks the cards and make choice whether to proceed the play or give up. In case the gambler chooses to stay he/she must wager the amount equal to Ante wager, it means that the poker player Raise (Play). The cards are shown and in case the dealer holds Queen or better (which according to the basic rules of poker means that the dealer’s hand qualifies) the hands must be evaluated and the winner is paid off according to the specific payout table. In case the dealer’s hand can’t qualify the player is paid 1/1 or even money on the Ante and Play bet is returned to the gambler. In case of the Pair Plus bet the poker hands are not compared, the gambler is awarded according to the special PairPlus payout table.

7-Card Stud Poker

This poker variation is played with from 2 to 8 gamblers and consists of five betting rounds. At first according to the basic rules of poker the players make Ante bet and are given three cards each, one of the cards is face-up. Two hidden cards are the ”pocket” cards and the card dealt face up is the “door” card. Now the poker players who are in the game are dealt four cards, one after another followed by the round of betting. At first three cards are given face up and the last one - face down. So, in general each player has seven cards, but he or she has to use only five of them to create the best poker hand. In the showdown the hands are shown and compared. The poker player with the highest hand is awarded the pot.

Texas Holdem Poker

Texas Holdem poker is the most widespread poker variation featured at all poker rooms. It is played using the regular 52 cards deck with 2-10 persons. According to the basic rules of poker the game action has four rounds the first of which begins after the blind bets are placed. The first poker player next to the dealer makes the small blind bet and the second one places the big blind. Commonly the big blind size is equal to the smallest betting amount determined by the game rules while the small blind amount is the half of the big blind amount. The players get two face down cards that is followed by betting round. The five face-up community cards are placed on the table, at first three of them (flop) appear and then the rest two cards one by one (called the turn and river) followed by betting each. During betting the gamblers can bet, call, raise, fold and check depending on their desire and the previous players’ betting actions. Every round is completed if all active gamblers have wagered the equal betting sum to the pot. At the end in the showdown the hands are revealed and the gambler’s hands are evaluated. The gambler can use any number of the hole cards and any of the community cards to make the hand. The poker player who has the strongest poker hand receives the pot. In accordance with the basic rules of poker if there is tie the pot is split.

Omaha Poker

This is one of the most popular poker variations due to its resemblance to Hold'em poker. The basic rules of poker variation are quite easy and they in fact differ from the Holdem rules just by several aspects. The main difference is that in Omaha the players after the blinds making are dealt four pocket cards each. Then five community cards appear on the board followed by betting round each. In the showdown the poker players shows their cards. Not like in Texas Hold’em in Omaha the gambler must use two of the pocket cards and only three community cards to form the hands.
